WOMEN: Hair loss is related to a recent pregnancy or hormonal changes. When hair is gathered in a ponytail it feels thinner than usual. Hair is becoming more susceptible to breakage. More hair than usual is collecting in brush and shower drain. Scalp becomes visible at part, yet still can be camouflaged with styling. Scalp is visible to highly visible even with styling efforts. Hair easily falls out when brushing and there is more hair collecting on pillows and towels. Hair doesn’t retain style or is difficult to maintain volume. Hair is fragile and breaks off easily.
MEN: Hairline begins to look weaker, yet still can be camouflaged with styling. Scalp on crown is starting to show. Hair feels thinner than usual when running fingers through it. Hair loss is moderate or moderate to heavy. Hairline is visibly diminishing and/or receding. There is more scalp showing than hair. There is more hair collecting on pillow, towels and combs.
